Poynter Middle School
The $7.4 million, CM/GC addition and remodel project involved construction of two (2) new parking areas during the summer break period, construction of a 14,000 sf concrete-tilt-up addition that provided a new administration area and eight (8) new classrooms, a new fire sprinkler system throughout the 63,000 sf existing facility, and remodeling of existing cafeteria and school counseling areas. Work from September through March was completed while school was fully utilized by staff and over 800 middle school students.
