Simon Benson House
This $1.2 million project involved the relocation and restoration of the 1900 Simon Benson house from the corner of Southwest 11th and Clay to the Portland State University campus. Close collaboration with the college and SERA Architects was required to restore the many unique historic features of the structure’s interior and exterior. The building now houses the Portland State Alumni Association and Visitors Center.
