Palmer Chair Lift at Timberline
This expansion to the ski facilities at Mount Hood was constructed at the 7,500-foot level of the mountain. Careful planning was required by P&C to complete construction within a short six-month weather window and to deliver materials to high elevations. The concrete, steel, and timber-framed structure was designed to sustain wind gusts of more than 100 miles per hour, and potential annual snowfall of more than 200 inches.
